Your Photos Are Safe

We understand that your family photos are precious and private. Here's how we handle and protect them:

  • Photos are stored on Cloudflare R2, which encrypts data at rest and serves it over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
  • Photos are sent to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) solely to generate your coloring book pages — they are not used for any other purpose
  • Google Gemini processes your photos under their API terms of service, which means your data is not used to train their models
  • Photos are only used to generate your coloring books and are never sold or shared for advertising
  • You can delete your photos and account data at any time from your account settings

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate MomentGenie:

  • Cloudflare R2 — Secure cloud storage for your uploaded photos and generated coloring pages
  • Google Gemini API — AI image generation to transform your photos into coloring book pages
  • Polar — Payment processing for credit purchases
  • Resend — Transactional emails (verification, password reset)
  • PostHog — Product analytics to help us improve the service
  • Inngest — Background job processing for book generation

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
